Recommendations via email can be a powerful conversion tool, as our customers have 2-3x higher click-through-rates on emails containing personalized recommendations.
How it works
At a set time after a purchase is made, customers receives an email with other recommended items for them. Here are the steps:
1. Make sure that your customers are in your email sending service
Recommendations will only go out to email addresses who are currently in your email sending service and have not unsubscribed from communication.

💡 A great idea on how to add many customers to your emailing lists, is to add a checkmark at check-out, with the text reading something like “I would like to receive marketing emails”.

Here is what we need:
- Your desired time delay between the last purchase and the email send time.
- The following details for the email:
- Primary color HEX code (used on buttons, dividers, etc.)
- Logo (high-resolution, .png or .svg)
- Font family (choose web fonts only to avoid poor rendering)
- From name (e.g. “Best Shop Ever”)
- Reply to (e.g. “[email protected]”)
- Preview text
- Subject line
- Intro line (e.g. “Thanks for your purchase, we thought you might also like these products”)
- Outro line* (e.g. “We hope you found our recommendations useful”)
- Company details for footer (Legal name, registration, address, email, phone)
- Any other footer text you wish to add*
